Sinful Colors Forget Now Swatches

Sinful Colors Forget Now Bottle

Sinful Colors ‘Forget Now’ Bottle

With this nail swatch, I’m formatting the post a bit differently – i.e. no slideshow. Let me know which you like best. So, I went to Walgreens this week since they had a coupon for 3 sinful colors nail polishes for 4 dollars. This made each polish about 1.33 which isn’t bad considering they are normally 1.99. Either way, these polishes are cheap and GOOD, which is why they are tending to dominate my collection at this point. This color, ‘Forget Now’, was part of a special display but I believe it’s part of the permanent line. It caught my eye with its sparkly blue-based pink color. I have to say that I LOVE this color. It is so vibrant and beautiful not to mention that it looks great on my skin. I will definitely be wearing this a lot. The pictures here were all taken in natural light and I applied three coats of the polish to get the opacity I wanted. Read on for pictures and swatches…..

Sinful Colors ‘Unicorn’ Swatch

Another Swatch of a Sinful Colors polish. This one is called ‘Unicorn’ and it is a pale yellow pastel. I picked it up at the newest Sinful colors display at Walgreens. So, I’m not sure if it’s a new color or a re-promote but it could very well be new. Slideshow on the click…..

Sinful Colors Savage Swatch

Another nail polish swach for you! As you can tell, I love sinful colors nail polish. Here’s why: I can buy 4 colors of sinful for the price of one OPI. Don’t get me wrong, I love OPI, but I like to have a lot of colors to work with too. And, honestly, I think Sinful colors wear allllllmost as good as OPI. So, definately worth the money. The color I have today is one of their newer colors, ‘Savage.’ In the bottle, in looks like a dark teal. Oh, and it has a matte finish! I did apply a topcoat so you won’t see the matte finish on my nails. (As a topcoat un-does the matte finish on any matte nail polish). I decided on the topcoat to improve wear. Matte nail polishes wear pretty easily without one; so, that’s the downside of the awesome finish.

The pictures I took were in natural light but I did correct some of the lighting as I got a lot of light in the background. The colors looks teal indoors and a brighter teal/almost blue outside in natural light. I am impreseed with the shade, but I love teal! Enjoy the swatches!

Sinful Colors Adventure Island Swatch and mini review

So, new blog – like it? I prefer the wordpress platflorm over the blogger platform, so that’s why I switched. Hopefully, I’ll be able to provide a nicer, friendlier, prettier blog because of this. Now on to the post…..

I recently purchased the Adventure Island colors when I saw them on a display at Rite Aid. These colors are great dupes of the Pirates of the Caribbean collection which OPI recently released. The collections consist of dirty looking pastels and really stood out to me as colors which are unique. The first swatch I bring to you is called ‘starfish’. It’s a pretty pastel pink. The finish is a creme finish and I applied 2 coats to get the look you see here. I love sinful colors because they are so affordable and the color selection is awesome. However, the only downside is that they last a day less before chipping when compared to the higher end brands. I do put a lot of wear on my hands and mine chip at about 24 hours into wear (with a topcoat). You may get longer wear if you don’t abuse your nails as I do. Overall, I really like these polishes and would definately reccomend them for purchase!
