Physician’s Formula PH Matchmaker Bronzer in Light – Outside Packaging
Spring is here and with it come new drugstore products! The drugstore lines have all really stepped up to the high-end plate and cranked out tons of new, innovative, items! I purchased this bronzer in February when Physician’s Formula’s new products hit the shelves. I have waited until now to review this because, honestly, I’ve been using it everyday and had to pull it out of my bag to take pictures and swatches. I love this bronzer – it is my new holy grail bronzer y’all! Read on for more…..
Gillette Venus & Olay Razor Packaging
I’m so excited about this y’all! I got this razor in my Influenster Voxbox and was thrilled! At the time I received it, the razor wasn’t yet released. I was so excited to get a chance to try it first! I’ve been a little unsatisfied with my current razor, so this was perfect timing for me. Let me tell you guys that I freaking love this razor and I’ll tell you why! Keep Reading…..
Almay intense i-color shadow sticks in blue and hazel eyes
Almay is kicking out some really awesome stuff lately! It isn’t a brand I’ve typically been drawn to, but with the new releases, I’m lovin’ the company! One of their new spring products are these shadow sticks. They are a cream shadow in twist up form and Almay claims they are ‘crease proof.’ They are also rumored to be a dupe for the MAC shade sticks. I can’t speak to that, since I haven’t tried the MAC, but as a cream shadow lover, I think these are great! Read on for more….
Almay Clear Complexion Concealer + Treatment Gel
It’s that time of the year when the drugstore makeup brands are churning out all the new, exciting products for Spring of 2012. With my love of drugstore makeup, I’ve definitely scooped up some of the products that are appealing to me. The concealer I’m reviewing today is one of Almay’s newest products, and I’m going to go ahead and tell you this is a rave review. Read on for more…..
Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Quenched
Ode to lip balm! This is one product I use every…..single…..day. In the winter especially, I can’t leave the house without lip balm since my lips dry out so much. So, I decided to give this a try to see how it stacked up to previous balms I’ve used. Read on for more……
This is a post for those of you fair girls like me. I know it’s so frustrating to find a drugstore foundation that matches you perfectly, and since I’ve had a lot of luck with drugstore foundations in the recent months, I thought I’d share that with you.
NYC Color Wheel Mosaic Face Powder in Pearl Glow
Ah, NYC, how I love thee! There are many core line products that I do adore but one of the awesome things about NYC is that they will put out limited edition displays all the time with new colors and new takes on existing products. This product is from the bronze bliss collection for summer 2011. When I saw it, I thought it looked like a great highlighter. In my experience, I don’t see a lot of great drugstore highlighters (physicians formula has some, however, those are the only ones I can think of at this time). Was this a hit with me? Read on…..
NYC Kiss Gloss in ‘Blood Red’
Yes folks, the Halloween collections are hitting the stores in August! I’m not a big Halloween fan but I love the colors that come out with the collections because they’re dark, vampy, and mysterious. So, beauty-wise, Halloween is a great time of year for me. I snatched up two things from the NYC Halloween collection, this lipgloss and the false lashes. I’ll write about the falsies after I wear them. As far as New York Color as a brand is concerned, I’m very happy with it overall. It’s a very budget friendly line which can be off-putting for some, as they assume it’s bad quality. I can’t speak for the entire line as I can for say, Revlon, because I haven’t used the entire gamut of all they offer; however, some of the products are really awesome and it’s an added bonus that they don’t cost a lot. NYC’s translucent smooth skin loose powder is my holy grail setting powder. I also think their creme bronzer (limited edition – bronze radiance) and cream blushes are as good as prestige brands and I love those as well (and use them daily). Now…..on with the review……
L’oreal’s LeGloss lipgloss in Baby Blossom, Peach Fuzz, and Nude Touch
New drugstore product alert! These little babies hit the shelves recently and I bought just one. I loved it so much, I went out and got more! (on sale of course). L’oreal frequently goes on sale at all drugstores and there are plenty of coupons, so I reccomend combining those to drop the price a bit. My review is going to be short and sweet for these. I love them! I think they are top notch for drugstore lipglosses. The smell is like cake batter and very reminiscent of the MAC lipgloss scent that I love. They are smooth but not sticky and pigmented! They are just high quality all the way around. The packaging is nice and I love that it’s very hygenic with the squeeze tube (vs doe foot). The color selection is great as well! Love these glosses. Read on for more pics…
L’Oreal Double Extend Eye Illuminator Eyeliner in ‘Black Crystal’
The L’oreal Double Extend Eye Illuminator is one of L’oreal’s brand new products on the shelves right now. I was so excited to see these released because, to my knowledge, this is the first white eyeliner pencil to make it to the drugstore shelves. For this, l’oreal, you are innovative and I congratulate you. I bought two of these, this is ‘black crystal’ with a black end and a white end. I also got the one for ‘brown eyes’ which is a purple liner and a white liner on the ‘illuminate’ end. Did I like it? Review and pictures to follow……
