Then……….along came polyvore! With Polyvore, it’s so easy to create collages for home, fashion, beauty, etc…. The above image was created with said website. My user name is acc82 if you want to follow me. The link to polyvore is here: Polyvore. Now…on with the favorites!

Yay for new drugstore products and double yay for new Revlon products! Y’all know I love my Revlon. They make my favorite foundation, concealer, and tons of other products that I love. The photoready line was extended for spring to include a new airbrush mousse foundation (review coming soon), brightening concealer, bronzing palettes, and primers. Revlon Colorstay 16 Hour Eyeshadow Quad in Precocious, outside packaging

More new drugstore reviews! So exciting! This is one of Revlon’s new offerings for spring. These quads are intended to be the next generation of the colorstay quads that have already been around for a while. The biggest difference I notice between the old quads and the new one quads is the color range! These new quads have more bright and other non-neutral colors to choose from. However, for my first purchase, I tried to stay a little neutral with Precocious…. Read on for more!

Revlon DoubleTwist Mascara Review

Revlon Double Twist Mascara Packaging

Revlon Double Twist Mascara Packaging

Today I’m reviewing Revlon’s doubletwist mascara. I bought this a few months ago, but I change my mascara religiously every 3 months and don’t open a new package until the one I’m using has reached it’s ‘expiration date.’ This not only saves me money but saves my eyes as well. If you wondering how I keep up, I use a sharpie to write the expiration date (three months from opening) on the tube and throw away on that date. Well, double twist is part of this three months mascara routine, so I thought I’d share what I like and don’t like about it. Read on….

Face of the Day for 9.22.11: MAC and some drugstore

I always like my makeup to look great when I go to any place where cosmetics are sold – I mean, why not? You wouldn’t go to the dentist with dirty teeth right? Well, today I was visiting my local MAC counter, so the majority of what I wore is MAC only. The MAC collections for LE products are in parens. Breakdown is below….

Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Wild Orchid Swatch and Review (with special appearance by Stila and NYX)

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Wild Orchid

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in ‘Wild Orchid’

All of you bright and bold lipstick fans are going to love this post! I love Revlon’s lipsticks, in fact, I think they are just about the best that you can buy at the drugstore. They are pigmented, creamy, and they come in a variety of finishes and colors. Recently, CVS had a great sale on these and I picked a few up. I’m normally a nude lippie girl since I tend to wear such dramatic eye looks but this color called my name and I decided to step a bit out of my comfort zone and try it. I’m very glad I did! Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Packaging

Revlon Colorburst Lipgloss Packaging

I have another awesome drugstore product for you today – Revlon’s new Colorburst Lipglosses. I have two colors, ‘rosepearl’ and ‘pink ice.’ They have a nice variety of shades and of course, Revlon is very easily accessible for most everyone. As far as drugstore lines go, Revlon is one of my favorites – it tops the list for quality in my humble opinion. So, on to the review….
