OPI Road House Blues Swatch, From Fall 2011 Touring America Collection

OPI Road House Blues Bottle

OPI Road House Blues Bottle

Another Fall polish for you! Can you tell that I’m ready for fall? This is from OPI’s Touring America Collection. I wasn’t super thrilled about any of these shades when I saw the promo photos but seeing them in person changed my mind. This shade, Road House Blues, was one of my favorites. I love my dark polishes and this is a dark blue creme that almost looks black on the nails, yet, one can tell that it isn’t pure black. I love it! Read on for more pics….

OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress Swatch

I'm not really a waitress bottle

OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress

I can’t believe it took me this long to get the most popular color that OPI¬†makes! The bottle you see above is that color – I’m Not Really A Waitress. I thought the story behind this was interesting. Suzi, the executive VP at OPI named this color after noticing that everyone in Los Angeles had another job besides the one they worked. Sinful Colors Adventure Island Swatch and mini review

So, new blog – like it? I prefer the wordpress platflorm over the blogger platform, so that’s why I switched. Hopefully, I’ll be able to provide a nicer, friendlier, prettier blog because of this. Now on to the post…..

¬† I recently purchased the Adventure Island colors when I saw them on a display at Rite Aid. These colors are great dupes of the Pirates of the Caribbean collection which OPI recently released. The collections consist of dirty looking pastels and really stood out to me as colors which are unique. The first swatch I bring to you is called ‘starfish’. It’s a pretty pastel pink. The finish is a creme finish and I applied 2 coats to get the look you see here. I love sinful colors because they are so affordable and the color selection is awesome. However, the only downside is that they last a day less before chipping when compared to the higher end brands. I do put a lot of wear on my hands and mine chip at about 24 hours into wear (with a topcoat). You may get longer wear if you don’t abuse your nails as I do. Overall, I really like these polishes and would definately reccomend them for purchase!
