Cover Girl Lip Perfection Lipsticks Review and Swatches

CG Lip Perfection Packaging

I’m back with another of my favorite new Cover Girl Products. Like the Intense Shadow Blasts, the Lip Perfection line is new from Cover Girl this year and is definitely top-notch. Read on for the review…

These are a new line of lipsticks from cover girl that claim to make lips more conditioned with extended wear. They come in very sleek packaging and my favorite thing about the packaging is that the actual color of the lipstick is on display at the bottom of the tube. (pictures below) I have four colors – they are pinks and one peach. The line has a great selection of colors for a drugstore line.

These lipsticks are definitely pigmented and stay on for hours! I’ve tried a variety of drugstore brand lipsticks and these are tops for wear (without having to go with a stain or drying type lipstick). The colors I have do not bleed or fade easily but I don’t have any very dark colors that would typically do so. The lipsticks go on smoothly and the texture is very hydrating and nice. They don’t have a funky smell and do not taste weird either. The color you get on the bottom of the tube is what goes on – no guess work here.

These are my favorite drugstore lipsticks right now. They wear a long time, they hydrate, they have a great selection of colors and the packaging is incredibly well designed. I don’t have any complaints about this lipstick except that I wish they  would add even more colors to the line!

Cover Girl Lip Perfection Swatches

SWATCHES! I have them labeled. You can see that I like pinks. My favorite of all these right now is “kiss” as it is a beautiful coral color!
