Gelish Nail Polish Swatch in Sugar Daddy

Gelish Nail Polish In Sugar Daddy

Today is a simple post. I have swatches of Gelish Sugar Daddy. This is part of the Nail Harmony Gelish line at Sally Beauty Supply. This polish requires the gelish system and UV light which can be purchased at the same store. I love these at home gel manicures and I get a full two weeks of wear (without chipping!) from them! This color in particular is limited edition and part of the Candyland collection. Read on for more pictures….

KISS Nail Dress Review, Pictures, and Swatches.

The nail applique trend is pretty big right now; rightly so, the appliques are probably the easiest way to get great looking nails effortlessly. Before trying this product, the only experience I had with these were via the Sally Hansen nail polish strips. The two products are similar but definitely not the same. I received this product via the Influenster Voxbox although I do have other designs I purchased on my own. The following is a review of these strips…..

Gel Manicure at Home with Gelish! Featuring the color Night Reflection.

Gelish Nail Polish In Night Relection, Swatch

Gelish Nail Polish Swatch in Night Reflection

Gel nails. They are huge right now. Among the claims sported by gel manicure companies are such statements as: no chipping, no peeling, 3 weeks wear, no fading. This is everyone’s dream right? Up until recently, you had to get yourself to a salon to get one of these manicures as well as pay around 25-35 a pop. Being one of those who doesn’t go to the salon, ever, I bought the Gelish kit when it was released at Sally Beauty Supply. I’d been sitting on the kit until today as I thought the manicure would take forever. However, I discovered that this manicure isn’t as complicated as I once thought. Read on for more!

Sally Hansen Gem Crush Glitter Polish in Razzle Dazzler to right and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Celeb City on left

I have a bling-tastic manicure for y’all today! I just bought Sally Hansen Xtreme wear in Celeb City on a great CVS sale. This polish is so pretty – it is a true silver foil polish that looks both bright, metallic, and shiny on the nails! Love! I went to paint my nails with this color last night and realized a colorful glitter with silver accents would look fab on top of the foil. So, I chose one of the new polishes from the Sally Hansen Gem Crush line in Razzle Dazzler. I love this manicure so much and it’s perfect if you want a sparkly, glittery, blingy manicure! Orly Seashell for Susan G. Komen

It’s October, so it means that you will be seeing pink everywhere! It’s breast cancer awareness month and during October, many cosmetics manufacturers like to kick out a lot of pink products and give proceeds to breast cancer research. Since recently deciding to go cruelty free with my makeup, I’ve turned to Orly since Sally Hansen is now a no-no for me. I have to tell y’all, I can’t believe I waited this long to try Orly. I’ll go on about how awesome they are in the mini-review. Keep on reading for more…..

OPI Road House Blues Bottle

OPI Road House Blues Bottle

Another Fall polish for you! Can you tell that I’m ready for fall? This is from OPI’s Touring America Collection. I wasn’t super thrilled about any of these shades when I saw the promo photos but seeing them in person changed my mind. This shade, Road House Blues, was one of my favorites. I love my dark polishes and this is a dark blue creme that almost looks black on the nails, yet, one can tell that it isn’t pure black. I love it! Read on for more pics….

China Glaze Midtown Magic Bottle

China Glaze Midtown Magic Bottle

This nail polish swatch is from the new Fall 2011 Metro Collection. I looked at the colors both online and in person before purchasing. I knew, from my research and from eyeing in person, that Midtown Magic was the shade that I needed! It’s a beautiful brown with a golden shimmer/glitter. It…..is…..beautiful! I don’t know if my pictures will pick up the true beauty of it, but I try. :-) The formula is fab just like all China Glaze. If you’re a fan of dark, vampy, polishes, I definitely recommend this one! OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress Swatch

I'm not really a waitress bottle

OPI I’m Not Really A Waitress

I can’t believe it took me this long to get the most popular color that OPI makes! The bottle you see above is that color – I’m Not Really A Waitress. I thought the story behind this was interesting. Suzi, the executive VP at OPI named this color after noticing that everyone in Los Angeles had another job besides the one they worked. The example here is a waitress that’s ‘not really a waitress’ because she’s an actress. Cool, right? Well, for the swatch, keep reading….
